Radishes
Radishes have been another staple commodity for Pioneer for many years. Our grower, Frontier Produce, grows radishes in the rich muck soil of South Florida. They produce radishes in these regions for nine months and partner with Burma Farms in Ohio for the remainder of the year to provide a twelve-month supply of radishes to their customers.

Radishes are planted and harvested 12 rows at a time. They are harvested and topped by a mechanical harvester.

At the packinghouse they are washed, graded, hydro-cooled and packaged into 6oz., 16oz., and 16oz. re-sealable cello packs. They are also packaged in 25 or 40lb bulk bags. The cello packs are then packed in a display ready carton, over-wrapped and palatalized for shipment. These red gems are packed in the Pioneer Growers label, which is known for quality. Our radishes are shipped all over the United States, Canada, and Europe where Florida radishes are known for quality and taste.
